Enabling Notifications for New Orders

To ensure you never miss a new order, our system sends sound notifications for every incoming order. These notifications are supported on both desktop and tablet—as long as you're using Google Chrome.


How to Enable Notifications (First-Time Setup)

When you log in for the first time on Chrome (web or tablet):


Look for the blue bell icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.


Click the bell icon.




Chrome will prompt you to allow notifications.

Click “Allow” when asked.




Once enabled, you’ll receive a sound alert every time a new order is placed.


⚠️ Notifications will only work properly in Google Chrome. Make sure you're not using a different browser.


Managing Notification Settings

If you need to adjust or disable notifications:


Open Google Chrome Settings


Go to Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Notifications


Find your restaurant dashboard site in the list


From here, you can:


Allow or block notifications


Reset permissions if needed


Troubleshooting: Not Hearing Sound Notifications?

If you’ve enabled notifications but still don’t hear a sound when new orders arrive:


Open Chrome’s notification settings (as shown above)


Remove the notification permission for your restaurant dashboard site


Log in to the dashboard again


When the blue bell icon appears, click it again and allow notifications


This resets the permission and often resolves sound notification issues.
